Applications for the 2010-2011 class of the Massachusetts Institute for Community Health Leadership (MICHL) are now available. Please download and print out the application. The deadline for applying is 5:00 p.m. on August 2, 2010. For more information contact Michael McCormack.

Eligibility and Selection
A group of up to 18 highly-regarded applicants with recognized leadership potential will be selected to participate in the MICHL. These participants will come from a variety of backgrounds and represent diverse employment situations, such as:

• New executive directors with no prior experience heading an organization, senior and mid-level managers with at least seven years of experience
• Clinicians ready for a transition to administration
• Direct service or program managers seeking senior management appointments
• Advocacy and policy managers with a goal of organizational leadership

Applicants must submit a complete application package which includes five (5) copies of each of the following:

• Application
• Personal essay
• CEO/Organization Commitment and Recommendation
• Colleague Recommendation
• Current resume

A Selection Committee made up of members of community health leaders, staff of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation, and MICHL alumni will evaluate the applications and select a slate of finalists to be interviewed. Final selection of participants will be made by the Selection Committee following the interview process.
