Regina Villa is the President and Owner of Regina Villa Associates, Inc., a public affairs and public relations firm specializing in the design and facilitation of environmental public acceptance and participation programs; health and human services public policy issues management; nonprofit management consultation; conference management; political consultation; and strategic planning. She founded the company in 1978, and it has more than 60 public and private clients ranging from state authorities to public health advocacy organizations to engineering firms.

Ms. Villa has extensive health care and public policy expertise as a registered nurse; a college level nursing instructor at Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing in New York, Boston College and Boston University; and political aide to Congressman Michael J. Harrington, among other notable accomplishments. She served as chief executive officer of the Massachusetts Nursing Association and the Cerebral Palsy Association of the North Shore.

While serving as a project consultant to the North Shore Development Corporation in the early 1970s, Ms. Villa conceived and developed a program for multi-handicapped infants and their families which later became the state's Early Intervention Program. She developed funding sources, personnel standards, and program criteria for this initiative.

Ms. Villa has many statewide and national political consultations to her credit, including Congressman John Tierney of the Sixth Congressional District to whom she continues to consult. She is an active community volunteer, holding several board positions with North Shore nonprofit organizations.
